Admission to B.Tech Ist Semester and B.Tech IIIrd semester (for diploma holder candidates only),B Pharma, MBA & MCA will be made as per the norms set/prescribed by the U.P. Technical University, Lucknow (hereinafter called University from time to time)
No application for admission will be accepted on a plain paper.
All entries must be made neatly, correctly and truly. Any false information found later may lead to cancellation of admission.
Application form should be accompanied by the prescribed fees.
The application form must be submitted with a passport size photograph. The institute shall be entitled to use the photograph for publication in any journal/s, book/s, brochure/s, newspapers/hoardings etc.
Self attested copies of qualifying examination certificate marks sheet, high school examination, character certificate from the principal of the last school/college attended, and any other document as required in the admission form must accompany the application form.
College reserves the right to admit or refuse the admission without mentioning any reason.
The following documents will be issued to the students subject to college obtaining confirmation from the University that the students qualifying marks and criteria is accepted.
1. Identity Card.
2. Library Card.
3. Handbook of
Rules and regulations.
4. Hostel Card (for hostellers
only).
5. Bus pass (who have opted for bus).
6. Other details as given in application form.
Admission for students in the reserved quota to reserved category students shall be as per norms prescribed by the University and Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.

All the students are required to complete and submit the Semester Registration Form (blank forms are available in the Registrar’s office in the campus). No registration forms will be accepted from the students who have not paid their fees. If the registration form meets all the eligibility requirements of the University, the students will be issued University’s roll number.
All students are required to pay their annual fees in advance at the time of admission/registration and the existing students before the start of academic session. Request for the payment of fees in installments is not permitted. Fees is accepted by means of a crossed bank draft in favour of Dewan V.S. Institute of Engineering & Technology, payable at Meerut only. Fees will be neither refundable nor transferable except security deposit if any. It is important to note that the students are required to sign both the copies of counter foil of receipts at the time of payment of fees. Students should produce their student and Library/ ID cards at the time of payment of fees.
In case students failing to pay the fees as mentioned above, they will be debarred of all the facilities in the college: Normally no extension in terms of fees would be allowed within the prescribed time limit. In special circumstances an extension of depositing the fees is allowed subject to approval of the Director of the College in written. Failing to pay even after the extension a fine of Rs.50/- per day will be imposed, till the actual date of payment.
Every student is required to attend all the lectures, tutorials, practicals and other prescribed curricular and co-curricular activities. The Director may consider the leave applications of the student in exceptional cases. It is important that each student should have a minimum percentage of attendance as per the norms set by the University otherwise he/she will not be permitted to appear in the examinations.

Failure students are not qualified to attend classes.
Duration of curriculum includes lectures, tutorials, practical, seminars, projects, curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular activities, industrial training etc.

At the end of each semester external examinations are conducted by the University at the appropriate centers and practical/sessional examinations are being conducted in the campus.
It is important to note that the students are required to be punctual to attend the class tests, assignments, tutorials, industrial training, quizes, education tour, personality development, language proficiency, viva-voce etc.
The Examination Hall will be opened to the students 15 minutes before the time specified for the commencement of examination. No candidate who is late by more than 15 minutes shall be admitted to the Examination Hall.
A seat marked with the Roll No. may be allotted to each candidate and the candidate will be required to find out and occupy the allotted seat.
No candidate without the permission of the invigilator shall leave his seat or the Examination Hall till the examination ends. No candidate shall speak without the permission of the invigilator. If it is necessary for the candidate to communicate with the invigilator, he should stand up in his place or raise his hand and the invigilator will see to his requirement.
Before beginning his/her examination, the student shall fill up the details in various columns.
On the expiry of the scheduled time of examination the Answer-Book must be handed over to the invigilator even though the candidate may not have answered any part of the paper.
Candidates are required to bring their own stationary. Answer sheets will be provided to the students.
Answers shall be written in the Answer Book supplied to the candidate. No candidate shall tear out a leaf from the Answer Book.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the Examination Hall.
A candidate found guilty of any of the following shall be deemed to have used unfair means and his examinations shall be liable to be cancelled and result withheld. He may further be debarred from appearing in any examination for an indefinite period as may be decided by the Director /University or other disciplinary action including either expulsion from the college.
1. A wrong statement in the application form for admission to the college.
2. Writing name or putting a signature or any other mark in the answer book which may disclose the identity of the candidate.
3. Having a possession of book(s), note(s) papers or any other material connected with the examination.
4. Receiving or giving assistance directly or indirectly or copying in any form during the course of examination
5. Smuggling in or out of Examination Hall answer book, question paper etc. and tearing leafs/leafs from the Answer Book in any way.
6. Using abusive or obscene language in the Answer Book or in the Examination Hall.
7. Impersonation i.e. sending some other person to take the examination.
8. Communicating either directly or indirectly with the invigilator or any other person connected with the examination with the objective of unduly influencing him/her in any way.
9. Tempering the records or forging anybody’s signature.
10. Any other type of misconduct of a serious nature or deliberate previous arrangement to cheat in the examination.
11. Student can enter the hall by showing the Identity Card and enrollment no.
Staff on Examination Duty can physically search any student either before or during the examination/at any time provided, however, that female students will be searched only by lady examination staff.
Students are promoted to next semester as per University norms.

Students will be re-admitted in the college as per University norms. Fees will be charged as applicable.
University results are declared in the U.P.T.U web site and students are advised to check the web site.
Award of degree, division and rank are given by the University.
Scrutiny and reevaluation of external examinations are considered as per the norms set by the University by paying the appropriate fees.
Cases of unfair means shall be dealt as per the rules of UPTU.
Award of sessional marks is as per the University guidelines
In order to protect the college brand of quality education and maintain discipline, the college management will carry out surprise checks in the campus to ensure that the students attend classes promptly and do not breach the code of conduct.
In order to provide the best possible academic input and quality technical education after each semester, the feed-back for each course is taken from the students. Students are given full freedom to give their feedback in a prescribed form. The feedback forms for each course are analysed carefully and in case it is needed, teachers are advised by the HOD/Director.
Evaluation is carried out by college faculty right from the commencement of the session through out the academic session, it attending classes, performance in the laboratory & class work/test, maintaining discipline in the college etc. It is important to note that the students should ensure the promptness to attend these sessions and maintain discipline. College management may communicate to the parents about the performance of the students periodically.
