Department of Electronics Engineering
The electronics department is succefully Guiding two courses of UPTU :
1) Electronics and Communication Engineering
2) Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
The Electronics and Communication Engineering branch deals with electronics , electrical , instrumentation and communicaton engineering with the indepth knowledge of recent communication technologies like Multimedia communication , Satellite Communication , Microwave Technologies ,Wireless Technology , VLSI design , Digital Electronics etc. On the other hand it is also providing knowledge of Microprocessors ,Microcontrollers , biomedical instrumentations , Sensors etc. Which moulds students at par with the corporate demand for the upcoming electronics engineers The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department comprises of laboratories that are well equipped with the most sophisticated instruments and managed by experienced faculty.
Deviating from the conventional classroom teaching, the students are guided and motivated to practically implement the fundamental principles learnt in the classroom through experiments in the laboratories. The philosophy of "hands-on" experience helps the students to gain confidence and specialize in the practical workshop of engineering. Graduates can choose career in Telecommunication, Mobile, Industrial automation , Designing, Domestic Appliances, Hardware programming & Designing, VLSI Designing and many more opportunities in other sectors.

Department of Computer Science Engineering
The Computer science department is successfully conducting two courses of UPTU :
1) Computer Science Engineering
2) Information technology
The computer science engineering is basically an upcoming vertical of the engineering in the present scenario. Here students learn about the software development , Database , networking , Hardware , communication protocol implementation and many more The Institute has a large number of computer systems network installed with latest software package for high-end Programming, internet surfing and communication building skills.
A dedicated 4 MBPS Internet connection, gives more opportunity to the students to know the world and enhance their wisdom.
Department of Mechanical Engineering
The workshop technology is vast field for an engineer to develop his mental level knowing different aspects of workshop. On one hand, it provides the basic working knowledge of the production and properties of different materials used in the industry. On the other hand, it explains the use of different tools, equipments, machinery and techniques of manufacturing which ultimately facilitate shaping of these materials into various usable forms. Thus it not only provides a rich theoretical background but also gives a sound practical outlook to a student working in various fields like carpentry fitting, welding, black smith, sheet metal, machine & foundry shops.
It is language of engineers to express internal as well as external details of shape & size of different objects with the use of conventional signs of different types of lines using different types of pencils according to BIS. Here students are taught to imagine the probable aspect of view by using orthographic isometric, oblique & perspective projection method in 1st and 3rd angle projection method.
Department of Applied Sciences
Physics is the science which paves the way for a Person to enter in the field of Engineering and Technology. It covers all the wings of subjects under different sections like interference, diffraction, polarization, electricity, magnetism, and mechanics etc. It is designed with number of workstation keeping in view the latest trends of the subject and to provide every student a working place. Qualified and skilled instructors and demonstrators all round developments in the fields of the laboratory provide good technical support to the students.
The department of Chemistry has its place in the academic program offered at present. The subject not only provides the basic knowledge of, which is important for understanding the chemical nature of the materials, practical teaching of physiochemical process etc. The present course is taught in first year along with laboratory experiments. Chemistry laboratory is well equipped with modern equipments required for the present course.
Environmental science department imparts knowledge of environmental degradation due to the rapid industrial and population growth during the last few decades that has become a burning issue of the times for all. Our life support system along with its natural resources and rich biological diversity are rapidly being depleted due to over exploitation in the process of this fast economic development. This course aim to develop skill for tackling various environmental problems through resource management, pollution monitoring and control, resource conservation.
